The three tables above show the percent of students who scored basic, proficient, and advanced in grades 6- 8 for the years 2006-2009. The year 2006 is provided as a base year with students in grades 6 and 7 entering Algebraic Thinking in the 06-07 school year and students in grade 8 entering Algebraic Thinking in the 07-08 school year. Percentages in red and yellow boxes represent the percent of change. Of interest is the consistent shift of students from basic to proficient to advanced. Also of note is the significant increase in advanced students as well as proficient students indicating the rigor of the Algebraic Thinking program.
